HUMBLE QUEEN LAUNCH 2023
What Happened
Humble Queen officially launched with an intimate women’s gathering focused on one thing:
our mental space and what we are carrying as women.
The session was led by Your Host, Amanda Ndlovu and fuelled by phenomenal women,
- Mabu Morula - Occupational health nursing practitioner & An advocate for mental wellness
- Malebo Matlala— Cooperatives & small business development advisor
- Busi Mashinini - Organisational Behaviour Specialist & Leadership Coach
The conversations were honest, grounded, and necessary — not surface-level, but reflective of real lived experiences.
The Purpose
To open a space where women could:
- Acknowledge their internal load without judgement
- Begin unpacking emotional and mental patterns
- Be introduced to financial awareness as a tool for independence and growth particularly in business
The Outcome
- Strong engagement across the full session, with active participation in discussions
- High resonance with the core theme of mental load and emotional awareness
- Immediate demand for continued conversations beyond a once-off event
Women did not disengage at the end of the session —
conversations extended beyond the room, signalling a need for ongoing spaces rather than isolated gatherings.
This confirmed a clear gap:
women are seeking structured environments to reflect and grow consistently.
